How to create Project templates.

To create project templates, follow these steps:

  1. On side navigation bar, access the Control Center

  2. Choose the "Service Desk Templates" option from Service Desk section

  3. In the template screen that opens, choose the “Projects” tab from the list of tabs.

  4. On the screen that appears below, click the “Template +” button located in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  5. A new window will open where you need to fill in the fields appropriately.

  6. To show the end-users concern template while creating projects, locate “Show to users while creating projects" at the bottom of the second page of window and mark the checkbox near it.

  7. Finally, click “Create” to create the new template.

With these steps, you should be able to successfully create a new project template.

How to fill in the required fields while creating a new template.

To fill in the required fields, follow these instructions:

  1. Template Name: Fill in an apt name for the template, as the mentioned name will be used as Tags to search.

  2. Project Name: Input a Name for the project that you’re creating as the template.

  3. Board: Select the board under which this project often falls.

  4. Priority: Select the priority of the project.

  5. Billable: Enable or Disable the billable status using the toggle button.

  6. Description: Enter the description of the project that you’re creating as the template.

  7. Location: Specify the location from which the project was raised in this field.

  8. Budgeted Hours: Enter the estimated number of hours that the techs should work on the project.

  9. Tags: Enter the tags which are common for projects.

How to add attachments to the template Projects.

To add attachments to the template projects, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the attachment icon at the bottom of the project template creation screen and click on it.

  2. A new screen opens. Click on “Browse” to browse the required files and select them from the system.

  3. After uploading all the required files, click on "Save".

  4. Fill in the required fields and click “Create”

Following these steps, you can create template projects with attachments.

How to Delete Project Template.

To delete the Project template, follow these steps:

  1. First, go to the side navigation bar of the control center and select “Configurations”.

  2. On the screen that appears to the right, select “Templates” from the Service Desk section.

  3. In the template screen that opens, choose the “Projects” tab from the list of tabs.

  4. In the screen that appears, Project templates will be displayed. Click on the action option to the right corner of each project templates.

  5. Delete as you desire from the options.

That’s it. You have successfully Updated/Deleted Templated Projects.
