How to view/update general fields.

To view/update general attributes, follow these steps:

Step 1: On side navigation bar, access the Control Center

Step 2: Choose the "Custom Fields" option from Service Desk section

Step 3: In the window that appears, Select the “General” tab.

Step 4: In the window that opens below the general tab, you can view attributes; Source, Work Type, Work Role etc.

Step 5: To add a new value to an attribute, click on the "Variable attribute +" button on the right side of the attribute name and enter the value in the corresponding field.

Step 6: To edit or remove an existing attribute value, use the edit button located to the right of the value.

Step 7: You can also add custom attributes by adding the name for “Variable attributes” and update values for the same. On the first stage their will be two variable attributes available to add.

That’s it. You have successfully Viewed/Updated general attributes.

NB:-The attributes added on General Attributes will be available on Tickets, Projects and Project task More info of ticket properties sections

How to View/Update Ticket Attributes.

To view/update ticket attributes, please follow these steps:

Step 1: On side navigation bar, access the Control Center

Step 2: Choose the "Custom Fields" option from Service Desk section

Step 3: In the window that appears, Select the “Tickets” tab.

Step 4: In the window that opens below the tickets tab, attributes that specific to tickets will be Ticket Status, Ticket Type, Ticket Subtype etc.

Step 5: To add a new value to an attribute, click on the "+" button on the right side of the attribute name and enter the value in the corresponding field.

Step 6: To edit or remove an existing attribute value, use the action bar located to the right of the value.

Step 7: You can also add custom attributes by adding the name for “Variable attributes” and update values for the same. On the first stage their will be two variable attributes available to add on ticket section too.

That’s it. You have successfully Viewed/Updated ticket attributes.

NB:-The attributes added on Ticket Attributes will be available on Ticket properties more info section.

How to View/Update Project Attributes.

To view/update Project attributes, please follow these steps:

Step 1: On side navigation bar, access the Control Center

Step 2: Choose the "Custom Fields" option from Service Desk section

Step 3: In the window that appears, Select the “Project” tab.

Step 4: In the window that opens below the project tab, attributes that specific to projects will be Project Status, Project Type, Project Subtype etc.

Step 5: To add a new value to an attribute, click on the "+" button on the right side of the attribute and enter the value in the corresponding field.

Step 6: To edit or remove an existing attribute value, use the action bar located to the right of the value.

Step 7: You can also add custom attributes by adding the name for “Variable attributes” and update values for the same. On the first stage their will be two variable attributes available to add on Project section too.

That’s it. You have successfully Viewed/Updated Project attributes.

NB:-The attributes added on Project Attributes will be available on Project additional details.

How to View/Update Task Attributes.

To view/update task attributes, please follow these steps:

Step 1: On side navigation bar, access the Control Center

Step 2: Choose the "Custom Fields" option from Service Desk section

Step 3: In the window that appears, Select the “task” tab.

Step 4: In the window that opens below the task tab, attributes that specific to project Tasks will be Task Status, Task Type, Task Subtype etc.

Step 5: To add a new value to an attribute, click on the "+" button on the right side of the attribute and enter the value in the corresponding field.

Step 6: To edit or remove an existing attribute value, use the action bar located to the right of the value.

Step 7: You can also add custom attributes by adding the name for “Variable attributes” and update values for the same. On the first stage their will be two variable attributes available to add on Tasks section too.

That’s it. You have successfully Viewed/Updated Task attributes.

NB:-The attributes added on Task Attributes will be available on Task additional details.
