Uninstall IT-Connect Teams App from the Admin Center

Admins can remove IT-Connect from users’ Teams clients by updating the App setup policy.

Remove IT-Connect from App Setup Policy

  1. Sign in to the Teams admin center.

  2. Navigate to Teams apps → Setup policies.

  3. Select the App setup policy where IT-Connect is installed.

  4. Under Installed apps, locate IT-Connect.

  5. Click Remove next to IT-Connect.

  6. If IT-Connect is pinned, also remove it from the Pinned apps section.

  7. Click Save to apply the changes.

Once saved, IT-Connect will be uninstalled from Teams for users assigned to this policy.

Unassign the App Setup Policy (Optional)

If IT-Connect was added through a dedicated setup policy:

  1. Go to Teams apps → Setup policies.

  2. Select the policy assigned to users.

  3. Click Manage users.

  4. Remove users from the policy or assign them to another policy that does not include IT-Connect.

Notes

  • App removal may take a short while to reflect on users’ Teams clients.

  • Users may need to restart Teams if the app still appears temporarily.

  • This action does not delete DeskDay or IT-Connect data — it only removes the Teams app access.

If the app still appears after some time, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
