How to merge duplicate tickets to a ticket.
To merge duplicate tickets to a ticket, follow these steps:
Open the service desk module on side navigation bar and select "Tickets" section.
Find the ticket that you want to merge duplicate tickets into, and open it.
Look for the "Merged Tickets" drop-down menu, and click on it.
From the list of already merged tickets, scroll to the bottom and click on "Merge new tickets".
This will take you to the ticket board screen, where you can select the duplicate tickets that you want to merge with the current ticket.
Once you have selected the duplicates, click on "Merge" to proceed.
You will see a confirmation screen that displays the ticket IDs of the selected tickets. To confirm the merge, click on "Confirm".
With these steps, you can successfully merge the duplicate tickets into a parent ticket
NB: You can also merge duplicate tickets to a parent ticket from ticket board by selecting required tickets and using the "Merge" option on action bar.
