How to add a new child ticket on a ticket.
To add child ticket on a ticket, follow these steps:
Open the service desk module on side navigation bar and select "Tickets" section.
Select the ticket that you want to add a child ticket to.
Look for the "Child ticket" drop-down section on the right-hand side of screen and click on it.
A list of existing child tickets will be displayed. Click on "Add new child ticket" at the bottom of the list.
You will be directed to a new screen where you can select the "New child ticket" tab.
Fill in all the necessary fields on the screen as same as creating a new ticket
Once you have completed all the fields, click on "Create & Link" to create the new child ticket and link it to the parent ticket.
Congratulations, you have successfully added a child ticket to a ticket!
How to link an existing ticket as a child ticket to a ticket.
To link a ticket as a child ticket, follow these steps:
Open the service desk module on side navigation bar and select "Tickets" section.
Select the ticket that you want to link a child ticket to.
Look for the "Child ticket" drop-down section on the right-hand side of screen and click on it.
A list of existing child tickets will be displayed. Click on "Link Existing Ticket" at the bottom of the list.
Go to Link existing ticket tab on the new window
A list of available tickets on board will be listing on table
Select the ticket(s) you wish to link by marking the checkboxes next to them.
Once you have selected the desired ticket (s), click on the "Link" button.
A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm your selection with the ticket IDs and parent ticket details. Click on "Confirm" to confirm.
Congratulations, you have successfully linked an existing ticket as a child ticket!
