Next occurrence actions let you control the upcoming scheduled run of a recurring ticket. You can skip the next scheduled occurrence or generate a ticket immediately without changing the full recurring setup.
Where to find next occurrence actions
To use next occurrence actions, go to:
Control Center > Recurring tickets
Select the recurring ticket you want to manage, then click Next schedule.
Available next schedule actions
You can choose from the following options:
Skip
Generate now
Skip next schedule
Use Skip next schedule when you want to skip only the next scheduled ticket.
This is useful when a scheduled task is not needed for one cycle, but you want the recurring ticket to continue as usual after that.
When you skip the next occurrence:
The next scheduled ticket is not created
The recurring ticket remains active
The next run updates to the following scheduled date
Generate now
Use Generate now when you want to create a ticket immediately using the recurring ticket settings.
This is useful when the work needs to be done right away instead of waiting for the next scheduled run.
When you generate a ticket now:
A new ticket is created immediately
The ticket uses the recurring ticket settings
The regular recurring schedule continues as usual
