Sometimes changes don’t work out as expected. The knowledge base allows you to restore any previously published version of an article.
When to restore an older version
You may want to restore an older version if:
Incorrect information was published
Content was removed by mistake
A previous version worked better
Restoring a version is safe and does not delete history.
Steps to restore an older published version
Open the article you want to restore.
Open the version history section.
Review the list of published versions.
Identify the version you want to restore.
The current active version is marked with a live tag.
Select the older version.
Click restore.
The selected version becomes the new live version.
What happens after restoring
The restored version is marked as live.
The previously live version is preserved in version history.
You can continue editing and publish again if needed.
No data is lost during this process.
Best practices
Review version history before restoring.
Use restore instead of rewriting content manually.
Confirm the live tag after restoration.
