Step 1: Open Branding Settings
Log in as a superadmin.
Go to Control Center → Branding.
You’ll see options for Company Portal URL, Customer Portal URL, and Logo & Wordmark uploads.
Step 2: Enter Your Custom Domain
In the Company Portal URL field, type the domain you want to use (example:
servicedesk.company.com
).In the Customer Portal URL field, type the customer-facing domain (example:
support.company.com
).Click Save.
After saving, the system will generate CNAME records that you need to add in your DNS registrar.
Step 3: Add CNAME Records in Your DNS
Log in to your DNS registrar (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namebright, etc.).
Add the CNAME records exactly as shown in the setup screen.
Save your changes.
Here are examples for common registrars:

Step 4: Wait for Verification
DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate.
Once verified, your portal will be accessible via your vanity URL.
Step 5: Upload Your Logo & Wordmark
To complete your branding setup:
In the Branding section, scroll to Upload Logo & Wordmark.
Upload a Logo (PNG, JPG, or GIF) with a 1:1 aspect ratio (example: 120 × 120 px).
Upload a Wordmark (PNG, JPG, or GIF) with a 3:1 aspect ratio (example: 360 × 120 px).
Save changes.
This ensures your DeskDay account & IT-Connect display your company logo and wordmark consistently.

You’ve now set up both a vanity URL and branding for your portals.
Your customers and Techs will now access a fully branded experience through your own domain.
