Creating Tickets for Teammates.

The IT-Connect platform allows you to create support tickets on behalf of your teammates, making it easy to report issues and get help for your entire team.

Step 1: Start Ticket Creation

Click on the "Create Ticket" button located on the Ticket List screen or Home tab. A modal window will pop up with the ticket creation form.

Step 2: Input the Issue

In the "Issue" field, type a clear and concise summary of the problem you or your teammate is experiencing.

Step 3: Select Team Member

In the "Select Team Member" dropdown box, choose the teammate for whom you want to raise the ticket. This ensures the ticket is properly assigned and tracked under their name.

Step 4: Set Urgency Level

Select the appropriate urgency level for the ticket from the available options. Choose the level that best reflects the impact of the issue on your teammate's work.

Step 5: Provide Detailed Description

In the "Description" field, provide a comprehensive explanation of the issue.


Step 6: Submit the Ticket

Click the "Create" button to submit the ticket. The ticket will be created and assigned to the selected team member.

Managing Teammate Tickets

Easily manage your teammates' tickets by using the dropdown menu located next to the "New Ticket" button. This feature allows you to:

  • View all tickets created for your teammates

  • Monitor ticket progress and status updates

  • Access ticket details and communication history

Real-Time Collaboration

The platform enables seamless interaction with your teammates' tickets, including:

  • Real-time chat with technicians for immediate assistance

  • Collaborative problem-solving to resolve issues quickly

  • Status updates to keep everyone informed of progress
